MO- and MT- billing are the two methods how carriers charge users. With MO-billing (Mobile Originating Billing), operators charge for the sent message. In this case, users are billed at the moment when they sent out SMS. With MT-billing (Mobile Terminating Billing), operators charge for the reply-message sent back to the user. In this case, users are billed only when they receive the reply-message (also known as reverse billing).

The table above shows your revenue after the operator's share, Fortumo commission and the costs of sending the users a reply SMSMobile operator takes a revenue share on each transaction for handling billing, collecting money and covering credit risk. The operators then pay the remaining money (usually between 40% and 60% depending on end-user price) to Fortumo. Fortumo pays you the money received from operators minus a small commission (which can be only 2-3% of end-user price, depending on country, type of service and volume). Payout cycle in Croatia is 2 monthsFortumo pays you money immediately after we have received it from the mobile operators. Operators in different countries pay at different speeds. Payout cycle of 2 months means that the revenue earned by your services in January will be transferred to you in the first half of April.
After the initial waiting period, you would get a payout each month, as your February money arrives in May, March money in June, etc.

Croatia: Rules and Restrictions
- The service must be in compliance with Fortumo Terms of Service, Croatian legal acts and good morals.
- The end user price must be clearly stated in the advertisements and instructions of use.
- IMPORTANT: Short code, keyword and service price must be written on the same place and the same letter format. Price of the service mustn't be written with different color or font (bold) than short code and keyword. Example: Send TXT on shortcode 66354, price: 3,66 kn/SMS.
- Gambling, lottery and donation related services are strictly forbidden.
